You feel like you’re constantly trying to catch up.
How Therapy Can Help
Many people with ADHD spend years feeling frustrated with themselves, believing they should be able to “try harder” or simply be more disciplined. But ADHD isn’t about a lack of effort—it’s about the way your brain processes motivation, emotions, and tasks.
Therapy can help you understand these patterns, build practical tools, and create a relationship with yourself that is rooted in compassion instead of criticism.
Together, we’ll:
Explore how ADHD impacts your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life.
Better understand executive functioning challenges and emotional regulation.
Identify strategies that work with your brain instead of against it.
Create tools to navigate overwhelm with greater confidence.

Yes, I work with both men and women who have ADHD.
Why does my ADHD feel so physically overwhelming or cause so much anxiety?
Why does my ADHD feel so physically overwhelming or cause so much anxiety?
The ADHD brain is moving very quickly and that can impact your nervous system. The ADHD brain has to work harder to filter distractions, regulate emotions and manage everything that is coming in. Because of this, when your brain is overloaded, it can trigger a physical fight or flight response. ADHD and anxiety go together because they share similar biological pathways. Poor executive function can make it hard to regulate fast moving thoughts and emotions. When thoughts move faster than your brain’s ability to organize and self-soothe, feelings of anxiety and panic can take over.
Can we integrate my faith into my ADHD therapy sessions?

Yes, we can absolutely integrate faith in our therapy sessions. Effective clinical treatments can be combined with scripture, faith, and spiritual affirmations. We can use prayer and meditation to create grounding techniques to help soothe your nervous system. You can dictate how much or how little faith is brought into each session.
